Uploading MIDI Files

  • How do I upload a MIDI file?

    Simply log in to your MIDISTASH account, head to the upload section, and drag or select your MIDI file. Make sure to fill in the relevant details like the post title and tags to help others find your work. You can upload multiple files at a time as a midi kit or choose to upload them separately!

  • What file types can I upload?

    We currently only support midi (.mid, .midi) files. Make sure your file is properly formatted so that your upload will not fail.

  • Can I edit or delete a file after uploading?

    Yes! You can edit details or delete your file by navigating to your profile and selecting the post you'd like to update.

Downloading MIDI Files

  • How do I download a MIDI file?

    To download a MIDI file, simply click the download button in the post or kit you're interested in. You do not have to log in to download as we want to make this as easy and fast as possible!

  • Are the MIDI files royalty-free?

    Every MIDI file uploaded on MIDISTASH is intended for royalty-free use. However, we recommend contacting the uploader if possible to ensure compliance with their specific terms of use.

Playing MIDI Files Online

  • How do I preview a MIDI file before downloading?

    All MIDI files on MIDISTASH can be previewed directly in your browser. Just click on the play button to listen before downloading.

  • The MIDI playback isn't working. What should I do?

    Try refreshing the page or using a different browser. MIDISTASH works best with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. If the issue persists, contact support for help.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't upload my file.

    Ensure your file meets the format and size requirements. If you're still having trouble, try clearing your cache or using a different browser. If none of these steps help, please contact support.

  • My download is slow or interrupted.

    Download speeds may vary depending on your internet connection. If you experience repeated interruptions, try pausing and resuming the download, or switch to a more stable connection.
